Beware !!! when you go to install they want you to use thier search engin and thier home page.Even if you choose the custom install and uncheck the search engin box and home page box,it will install but when I tried to play the game the title page opens but nothing works. I'm using Vista Home Prem. and ran as administrator still no go.
No uninstall option, you have to go to control panel and uninstall even then it will leave behind main game folder and website folder in the programs file.Posted 15 years ago # -
Gosh, I didn't know Incredimail has games, now. Off to go check it out, now.

Thanks for posting the free game info, Scarlet. BTW folks, just to let you know, there are 2 options when downloading/installing the game. You will want the 2nd one, which is Custom. The 1st option will have the software changing your home page and search engine; the Custom one (the 2nd one) allows you to uncheck both of those options boxes, and then proceed with the download/install.

Actually, I avoid "standard" installations like a plague! If there is a "custom" option, I always take it. In many cases, the "standard" install gives no option for even the basics like folder placement. Even the custom often skips shortcut placement but that's fairly easy to move later. At least with Vista, it'a a bit more difficult if it splits the shortcuts into ProgramData & AppData.
As several have said, it's often the only way to avoid these pushes to install toolbars. Just how many toolbars are we expected to need??????

Note - Even if you say "Custom", you have NO choice in where the game or shortcut is placed. Fortunately, you can just MOVE the folder and create your own shortcut. I did "fix" the shortcuts it created because I do keep them in a separate area (if needed).
The game played fine in it's new location. I don't know what it did in the registry but it obviously was not the location of the game!

p.s.
I'm really bad at emailing these days, sometimes going days without even checking my mails. I've got such a backlog of mails to answer it puts me off checking, which then makes it even worse. My main Email has over 900 unread mails, though thankfully most are not personal Emails; I'm sorry for not getting in touch.
