Has anyone been able to get their personal key from today's give away? After 2 hours (was supposed to 5 minutes), I got the company's email - but there's no key/code visible. And yes, I've clicked on the registration link in the email - no joy. Rapidly losing my cool - and a rabid hamster is not a pretty sight ;) Any help?

I also had a problem registering this software. Five emails later, and fragen@franzis.de was one of them, info@franzis.de and support@franzis.de were given on their website and two emails direct off a page on their website, I got absolutely no response from the authors, Franzis. After installing, I clicked on the INTERNET button, and then the waiting began, and I waited and waited and five emails later, zip, zero and zulch. I have come to the conclusion that with these high-end (expensive) software programs, the authors have a cut off number, after 2000 registrations they terminate all new registrations of their software - which is really not fair to visitors that come almost two hours before the free offer ends. I think Franzis should have an explanation in this regard.

Hughjocapivvy, I'm not sure that I agree other than Kraniz has some 'splaining to do about their convoluted registration system since they've had the same problem with other giveaways.
We've had two giveaways with registration difficulties in the recent past - EaseUS Todo PCTrans and Color Projects Pro 1.14.
The EaseUS product is really a one-time use piece of software. It was the latest version of the program and it's reasonable that they would limit the number of licenses as those licenses represent some measure of "lost sales" (if they did limit them).
Color Projects Pro, on the other hand, offered an older version of the program to entice people to upgrade/buy the new version. With Color Projects Pro every successful registration is a potential future upgrade/sale but every failed registration is a lost sale. Color Project Pro had no reason to limit the number of licenses.
So:
EaseUS Todo PCTrans: successful registration = lost sale
Color Projects Pro: failed registration = lost salePosted 9 years ago # -
Well the good thing is I got an email from Franzis today wherein they acknowledged having problems with their server which their technicians have been able to sort out. They did say they would be sending me an email with "data/information" so I do hope it is the code to install their Color Projects Professional version. Holding thumbs.

An update to my post above, FRANZIS were really good in resolving the problem I had in registering their software and the problem they had with their server.
Thank you FRANZIS once again.Posted 9 years ago #
