And here I come with pistols on both hips! I've found it's safer not touching on religion or politics! Otherwise you're going to get me started, and I prefer keeping the friends I've got.. don't want to turn them into enemies!

I am not even American and I know better than to touch this one. Anyway, doesn't Bubby have in the guidelines for posting to steer away from Religion and Politics?
