I have been a GAOTD user almost from the very beginning, and have downloaded and installed several really wonderful programs, some of which I went on to buy. I have never before had a program fail to activate. I recently downloaded and installed RecentX, loved it, and that evening installed it again on a friend's computer. Both installations looked flawless. But...today, ten days later...I got a popup saying my "trial" had expired! My friend's installation is still going along without issue. I like the program enough to buy it, but goodness, I do wish there was some recourse for people who have after-the-fact failures like this one.

I have had this problem. I had to do a check disk and a defrag and when the computer rebooted it said enter a key or buy and the trial period was over. Is there some help here for this. I did not reload my computer. I did nothing. I hope this company makes it right because I have never had this happen before and its not even a month. I loved the program again..... What can we do about it. I also sent the company an email as well as giveawayoftheday. I hope they fix it... Did someone come up wtih a solution?????

Same here, the software worked up until today and now says that the registration expired. I seem to remember somewhere in the posts a message from one of the Conceptworld reps that the software would work "forever".

Idem, I also found an identical problem as Keter
I know more 7 people with the same problem also!This is due to an error in the activation code given by GAOTD.
I've alredy contacted GAOTD editor and aparently they can do nothing about it! and they belive its the operators fault :)Like Keter I've alredy downloaded and installed several programs with no problem. Sorry, but I don't think it's my fault.

Like goodgotd my RecentX stills works ok. I remember that when I installed it there was an option set to update the software automatically every month which I changed the software would never update.
If that option was not changed then the program would brake on the date the fist update was installed. I am not saying that this is the reason why everybody lost their RecentX licenses on the same day, specially after reading jpppbm post.
At any rate, I am impressed by ConceptWorld's PR.
My hat to you Gautam. I wish there were more developers like yours.

I'll go along with that, it just went wonky, though that could have been that mag glass messup sideswiping it- still, it's a breath if fresh air.

hadn't noticed it until the 2nd reboot after the mag glass fracas- had stuff locked out while troubleshooting and don't reboot this machine as often as I should as it takes forever to shut down. 1999 p-3 laptop- sorta use it as a command terminal.
