Installs, registers and runs under Vista 32bit and 64bit not just Windows 7 and above only. Does not support digital signature creation or signing the resultant PDF file with a pre-created digital signature file.
The OWNER password support is only a subset of the normally available options and the USER password (called open password in this program) encryption is not configurable to any of the supported ciphers in the PDF specification.
Hmm odd I just added an “open password” and it prompted me to open the pdf file but the reader reported the document had restricted rights (which I did not set!)
Change document:,Document Assembly:, Page Extraction:, Commenting:, Fill form fields:, Sign Digital Signatures:, Creation of template pages: all NOT ALLOWED.
Printing:, Content copying or extraction:, Content Extraction for accessibility: all ALLOWED
Cannot use open password to modify those restrictions in PDF reader that allows changing permissions and no owner password is set so cannot use owner password to change those limitations.
