    My regards as well, belated as they are... may all your future birthdays get better.

    It seems I've had a rash of memory failures lately, [the last stick of original ram failed in terri's Dell, this one has been tossing errors like popcorn] I just got in the replacements (kicked it to the 2 gig max, as it had both pc2-4200 and pc2-5300 mixed) for this laptop, my current comm-and-browse node- so I can get more than a couple words in sans error conditions. I hope my last email made it through and amused.

Haven't had my laptop on much, had a poisoned finger from a feral cat bite which put me in hospital and I couldn't use the mouse or type with my right hand.     Hi Nola, blimey, that sounds horrific. I must Email you soon. I've not Emailed anyone for a long time, so please don't think I'm ignoring you. I chat to a couple of giveaway community members via Skype frequently, but hardly ever write these days. I just find it hard to start for some reason. I have been meaning to write since I heard about your dog, but I easily forget these days. (Sorry). Thanks for the birthday wishes. :)

    I just got a surprise this morning. Several weeks ago I mentioned that I loved those jelly beans that you can get with loads of fabulous flavours (Jelly Belly's). My wife said that there was a package from America. When I opened it, out popped a large packet of Jelly Belly's and a nice birthday card. What a surprise. Now I'm finally going to watch Avatar (I bought it over a year ago when it was first released onto DVD/Blue Ray and have been saving it to watch when I'm in the mood) My daughter (who is happily tucking into my birthday present at this very moment) has been asking me to watch it for months, so I've decided that I'll enjoy my Jelly Belly's (assuming there are any left after my daughter has finished) while watching it this afternoon.

    Thank you Carolina (Wizzard of Ozz's wife) for those Jelly Belly's, they are very much appreciated. :)

    Also a massive thank you to pavid who has become one of my best online friends over the last 18 months or so. We talk on Skype or Team Speak virtually every day. He purchased a couple of excellent games for me. The latest Duke Nukem game, which I think will stir some controversy as you start the game in a men’s loo and end up peeing into a urinal plus you grab some poo from the toilet and throw it around. Yes really. You even get an award for the poo thing. I was quite shocked and couldn't stop laughing while describing the game to pavid last night when the game was unlocked.

    

    

    Also thanks for Jamestown a really cool neo-classical top-down shooter with local co-op play. The game has really cool retro graphics and several graphically gorgeous weapon graphics

    

    

    

    And finally for the latest Trainz game 'Trainz Simulator 12, which not only has the usual trains sim stuff but a city building editor included. I love trains and city building games, so this is a great birthday present.

    

    

    

    My inlaws purchased one of those hard drives that you connect to your TV which enables you to record, pause and watch other programs while you record (only works on ariel based TV's though so I've had to connect it up to my old TV ariel which was luckily still functional). It won't work on my Virgin Media cable connection, (well it does, but you can't record one channel while watching another).

    My wife bought me one of those mugs that you put in the freezer so when you want to drink a co cold. It’s very effective. The ice remains for almost 2 hours. I drink orange juice all day, so it was a very welcome gift, plus she bought me some much needed clothing and a few other odds and ends. :)

    All in all a very memorable birthday thank to my family, friends and the giveaway community. Thank you all who posted a comment. :)
