You have to sign up for GOG.com (no big problem) and you get 4 free games just for signing up. That makes 5 free games in one shot!

Thanks for this one devildog. I have a GOG account already and you can get this for free just by signing in to your GOG account and searching for Dragonsphere, click get free and it's added to your account. Or of course by signing up free if you haven't a GOG account already! :)

Thanks Devildog, this game looks great!
GOG is new to me...it says I've the game is on my "account page now." Does this mean I can download it for free whenever I like, as in sometime in the future, like next week? (I'd rather not download it until I get home).
List of free games that came automatically with registering:
Beneath a Steel Sky
Tyrian 2000
Dragonsphere
Lure of the Temptress

I was impressed that it knows it needs DOSBox and yet allows you to say you've got it and where it is. It first complained that I either didn't have it or it was "outdated". When I told it where to look, it changed to a green check. It even created the shortcut USING DOSBox where I told it to look.
I don't know where it installs it if you let it. It does default to Program Files. That explains the warning for Vista about possibly needing Admin mode. If it installs to Program Files, you must run it in Admin mode because it puts the working files in a sub-folder of the program folder. In Program Files, that means admin authority to change those files for Vista.
Recomendataion - if using Vista (an probably 7), do NOT let it install in Program Files. Specify another folder. I use "Products\Games\..." for my games. It lists above Program Files and is MY version of it.
