   registration website will not open, unable to register software

   Ditto Richgwhitt, http://www.cdrwin.de/index.html?language=en has crashed. I downloaded the software but I can't get the "popup to register for the serial" to open. Tried going to cdrwin.de's website, ----> crashed. I don't think these are the "goldenhawk CDRWin" guys from New Hampshire. Hmmmm??? Whatever you do don't turn off your virus and firewall.

   only issue L had was letting the registration browser a one-time access passt the firewall- 3 times. [installed and revo uninstalled twice- by that time I had proof the same reg code was in all 3 emails and used that to register with on the other 2 machines...]

   then the reg server ate it and I had to hard-terminate the key request process/web browser. [blank enter email box. both other machines, process lasso worked fine for killing it.]

   I hope goldenhawk screams and pounces hard, if they didn't get a solid license fee- they take pride in a seriously awesome program. which is at 4.0H on their website... no blu-ray. etc.

   if englemann has any sense they'll repeat the giveaway for those that got nada.

   If you installed CDRWIN 8 on the day of the giveaway use the shortcut in your startmenu "Request free unlock key" or contact Engelmann.com using the contact form to get a license.

   I used the 'contact form' as suggested, there has been no reply what-so-ever from engelmann.com. Looks like there won't be any cooperation from them on this issue. In retrospect, with the activation website crashing, and the lack of promised support so far, perhaps it's a good thing the software failed and a lesson learned about engelmann.com failing as a professional entity. This is NOT a judgement, just a comment on appearances based on the lack of performance, and failure of the propritary website. I haven't quite given up yet, but it's looking like my only option will be to delete CDRWIN8 soon.

   I had no problems with my activation. I received the promised activation codes within seconds of requesting them on the day of the giveaway. I must have been lucky with respect to timing, though I did request one code halfway through the giveaway and another one for another computer about five minutes before the end of the giveaway. Both codes came through with no problems.
