I was looking forward to these, eagerly awaiting June 5th, then found that they're only available to UK residents (available for purchase elsewhere in July). Ah well, I guess it's only fair: last I knew, UK residents paid a tax on each television set they own, so they deserve some perks for that. The first episode is City of the Daleks:

My son hasbeen waiting for the Dr Who games since they were announced a couple of months ago. Thugh we wont be able to access them till we get back home next week.

Well I'm in the U.S and used a proxy to download the setup file. Now the setup file connects to the internet and stops the installation saying I need to be in the UK. Is there anyway I can trick it into thinking I am?
EDIT: Alright I got it installed by changing my computer's IP with a UK one with the "Hide My IP" software. Only played a little bit but find it pretty fun.Posted 14 years ago # -
Lol, Chip. I'm still going through the code they use to check location (it's an EXE file), pitting it against OllyDbg. I've got a separated copy cracked, but I still need to somehow crack the installer-extracted copy at a sane time.
