I don't know if Steam will be honoring this free weekend trial, but I received an e-mail from Atari announcing that there is a free weekend trial of Champions Online in celebration of their new expansion pack. I may give this one a go. Sounds promising, but I hate the idea of paying monthly to play a game I enjoy. The site is down right now (presumably from all the downloading,) but you may want to keep an eye on it today. The promotion starts today, but I have no idea on the official start time.

Games GuruThanks Wizz, this is another I'd like to try, but no way would i pay mothly sub's (unless it was astounding and several friends also subscribed, lol)
Still. it may be worth trying out if it's gonna be free for the weekend.
Has anyone tried that R.U.S.E. game? It's been on a free beta for the past three weeks. There's still 12 days to go if anyone is interested. You do need the Steam client installed to get the free beta. (It's a WWII r.t.s. game)
