   Impossible to activate on 2 PCs with two different way to connect (DSL & Wireless). No activation (error about code mistaken: fake!), also manual. Removed!

   LOL - One more developer who thinks that his own way is better than the proven GOTD activation method. Hopefully they learnt that it is not enough to be "...the world’s #1 online video and TV downloader", they should also have the know-how and capacity to manage the rush.
   Not the best recommendation for this company.

   I was unable to activate this software. It also installed another sound suite to my computer. I had to manually remove both. I was interested in the software and would have most likely purchased it and the suite, but the problems with the GOTD download makes me think otherwise.

   Message from the Developer: RipTiger indeed installs many modules along with it in order to successfully download many online video formats and most importantly, to do all those tasks automatically. RipTiger also has the ability to convert videos and transfer them to iPod, that’s what all those libraries are for. There has been specific concern about the file inpsniffer.dll. This file detects online video buffering in the browser and sends it to RipTiger for automatic download. The software is absolutely spyware and virus free. It has passed the antivirus tests of CNET’s download com and other software directories. ps: if you fail to download extra components now they will be available later, even after the giveaway period is over.    It doesn't matter if users can download "modules" now or 100 years from now. It won't change the fact this software does not live up to it's developers claims. If this is "the world’s #1 online video and TV downloader" getting it to work as the developer claims is going to be the world's #1 miracle. All of the registration and activation issues should give a clear clue as to the quality of products offered by the developer. It just isn't worth the effort.

   Personally I would love to see them re-run this software on GOTD. I missed it on the one day that I didn't check the GOTD website. The trial version that I used was the only software I could find that allowed me to download a few videos that I had previously been unable to download using a bunch of the other programs that I tried, so for that I think they should be commended. It also converted it into another format and the quality was stellar, so please GOTD rerun this software soon! I'm broke right now, but I will definately purchase it eventually, that I can promise. I promise! :) Thanks! And to the guys and gals at RipTiger, don't listen to the negatives. Some people will complain about anything and never have anything positive to say. Just because they have no clue how to operate a computer doesn't give them the right to complain about your software which BTW... they were getting for free. Geesh, some people...
