About 3 weeks ago(?) when after an installation, I went to use the program for the first time when suddenly my computer went into a frenzy-like state with error messages(?) scrolling up and down the screen in a rather fast pace that I was unable to hit onto anything. Naturally, after several reboots I uninstalled the said program (sorry I should have taken more serious note of actual program?). Anyway to get to the point I'm currently having problems with downloading from this site in particular. When I click the setup.exe button I get the following error: "Application or DLL C:\Windows\system32\MFC.DLL not a valid Windows image. Please check against your installation disk. Any help with this, please?

Hi & welcome to the forums.
To help you with this problem I need some more answers.
- Firstly what version of Windows are you running?
- Are you running current AntiVirus software and what type/name is it?
- Do you get any messages appearing about any Virus or Trojan detections?
- Does this only happen with GOTD giveaways, or do you get these problems with other programs on your PC?
It might be that you don't have anything nasty on your PC and just a damaged MFC.DLL file (which is easily replaced), but it is best to rule out more sinister problems first.
