   Lately, when I try to download one of the free games (Saturday/Sunday), when I try to unzip, I get a message which wants me to download (and pay for) WinRAR. When I close that window, I cannot activate the ex file.

   Download 7zip. It will replace WinRar, and is free.

   And scan your computer for malware/spyware/helpware/toolbars/trojans/etc. You should get a message that "Windows can't open this type of file". You should not get a message telling you to download and buy a particular software product. I'd bet your money that whatever program is telling you to buy WinRAR also caused the problem in the first place.

   i made a virtual machine of Win XP home sp3 all up to date on Virtualbox and downloaded todays giveaway and it unziped with Win XP's zipper program with no problems i did not get redirected to another web site so something else is going on i will try also this week and weekend on other downloads but i still think something else is going on
