I have no idea how long this deal is for but Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures: Episode 3 is free (at least for US residents).

If you do not want to go through Amazon.com using their downloader, this is another option available directly from the developer, TellTale Games.

MemberThanks, Dragonlair and FireBride. Getting it direct from telltalegames is a good option also for non-U.S. residents, to whom Amazon downloads don't seem to be available. It's quite a big download, though - 466MB! I'm downloading it now from telltalegames, and it's not exactly burning up the tubes, even with my (lowest-tier) broadband connection.
Telltalegames is the same outfit who gave away Tales of Monkey Island: Episode 1 Launch of the Screaming Narwhal back in September, for those who took advantage of that offer.

It was 412 MB from Amazon and installed to 463 MB. Then it doesn't work right for me. The graphics and audio don't sync and the mouse/keyboard option are painfully slow. I'm running Vista 32 Ultimate SP2 with DirectX 11. I'm trying to work with TellTale on the problem. I have the exact same problem with Monkey Island.

I 'purchased' it but I'm leaving it my Amazon game folder for now...the one review at Amazon indicated the problems mentioned here. I love W&G; so i hope the issues are cleared up by the developers.

Not for me, Tailteann. I'm still working with TellTale on the issues. They tell me to try lower resolution (I tried that) they say to update my graphics driver (already updated) and they say to download/install DirectX 9.0c (I have 10 and 11 and I already did 9.0c to get GemTowers to run last weekend).
It's back in their hands for now!

This is a game I'd love to have, but one can ONLY buy it when making use of a credit card.
I don't use one. I truly hope the entire internet will adopt paypal or bankpayment!no wallace and gromit game for me today :-(

I thought it was spam, but it worked the code that amazon sent me. I thought why would they send me a gift card? I never heard of that before. I never have gotten a gift card from anyone before besides my brother for Christmas and that is usually from Walmart. It has never been so where I can get something online. Then I thought maybe they sent it to everyone. Maybe they are going to they just didn't do it yet.
I think he is going to love that game. He can download new chess sets and everything for it. He is playing Chess Titans (the one in Vista) and Chessmaster looks way better than that.

MemberDragonlair, I had the same problem with my game. My husband went into the game and the first list that comes up has a "settings" button. Go into that and directly under the "screen resolutions" settings is a number in a circle. Mine was a 5. Under that is a red half circle that say "to Graphics". Click on that and take that number down to a 1. This made the game work fine.

That Graphics resolution option was the key. I set it to one for both Wallace & Gromit (episode 3) and Monkey Island (Chapter 1) and both games now work. The graphics is a little choppy but for a game, it's fine. I don't need HD to play a silly game (some people do but I don't).

Perhaps that wasn't the place to thank them and announce the amount. A private "thank you" via an email card would've been much more sincere, imo... plus, what about those that didn't receive one, and resulting confusion. Maybe you saw no public "thank you's" because that wasn't the place to announce what or how much was received, in respect of other members. Just my opinion, no offense intended.
