   I don't like that the people at giveaway try to install the spyware program Software Informer. Software Informer is dangerous software hijacker, keylogger, and spyware.
   This application can’t be deleted or uninstalled unless you do direct manual deletion into registry: The Software Informer also causes high CPU utilization and makes overall computer performance dropped. To the best of this software strategy, it also hijacks http://www.google.com seach functionality, if you try to find information regarding this sofware, the page will only show information from Software Informer websiet for pages.

   Hmmm, strange, but the uninstall option in the Software Informer menu group worked fine for me.

   @ averydennis, welcome to the forums.

   Software Informer will only be installed when you check the install button - opt-in.
   And the uninstaller worked perfectly for me.
   Where is the proof for your assertion "Software Informer is dangerous software hijacker, keylogger, and spyware."
   Do you have any review, did you scan it? Please post the result of the scan.

   Thanks, Lady Gray. I don't understand why the confusion about all this still, even after GOTD fixed it. Maybe people are misunderstanding and thinking if you click close you're canceling the giveaway install, too. ???

   This Is one of them hidden options,If I never downloaded from this site,If I was faced with that window popping up.I would think I had to Press Install,thinking close would cancel the Installation,activation as Watcher has already said,It would have been much clearer If It was made like the add giveaway,com to your bookmarks with the checkbox next to It.

   Good point, judydog. Maybe they'll see that. Or maybe post it in the blog post on Software Informer. Or send them a comment. Of course, you'd think they've already heard this before, but, sometimes when you think that, you're actually the first one to say it.
