I used to be a member of real arcade. I found the folder where real arcade put trial games. There are a lot of them, most I didn't buy. I used "revo" to try to uninstall one, and revo said it couldn't uninstall as the file wasn't installed. So what are these files? Just taking up space on the hard drive? And can I free up some space (which I need to do) by just deleting the different game folders? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If they are not in Add/Remove (Program Features for Vista) and your uninstall tool doesn't see them then you can just delete the folders for the games. You also should look for any shortcuts that have been created. Those are BIG space wasters. They are tiny files so the space allocated will be mostly filler. This is especially true if the disk is formatted FAT-32 with a 32 KB minimum allocation block (it's 4K for NTFS).

Wow I'm shocked that a shortcut would take up so much room. It looks so small. I'll have to go through all of mine and see what I really use.
