WinRing0x64.sys is a driver used by hardware monitoring software. It was determined to be vulnerable to exploits in 2020 -- the versions I have that are used by my current software [e.g., OpenRGB] are dated 1/7/23 with v. 1.2.0.5 . A scan with Windows Defender does not show any problems. The Neowin article says that users are currently reporting that Defender's flagging the file as malware, and a quick Google seems to confirm this. I do not know if this was a glitch in a now replaced Defender definition file, or if the newer version I have is OK.
