Is anyone familiar with mrsupergames.com? They offer free games but the site looks....well....just not very prefessional I guess. Anyway, if you've had experience with them could you share, please.
Thanks

Here is what McAfee Site Advisor has to say:
When we tested this site we found links to gamefiesta.com, which we found to be a distributor of downloads some people consider adware, spyware or other potentially unwanted programs.
To read further go here:

I however have never been to mrsupergames.

Neat site, mittens... I've bookmarked it. Gosh, they even said it was dangerous! Plus, they want your full name, address, and phone number (to use as your password...???) to download a free game, and they don't look that great. Shifty, eh? Since when do people ask for your phone number as a password. Surprised they didn't ask for your SS#. :-|
Just saw your post, HOSS... another neat site. For McAfee users only?Posted 16 years ago # -
midori - No, I just googled mrsupergames and saw a McAfee rating so I clicked on it and found that page.
Here is the Site Advisor page. You can type in any website to see if McAfee has any info on that site.
They also have a free download that test sites for you as you surf. I have not used it so I can't personally recommend it but it is a well liked software.
*Also, if I am not mistaken, I believe Whiterabbit has compared WOT (Web of Trust) and McAfee Site Advisor and I think he said he prefers WOT.

Thanks, HOSS... I'll probably compare them, but WOS did look pretty good.

Went to the site and just for the heck of it, started the registration process. BTW, does ANYONE actually give their real phone #? Anyway, then the fun began. I was lead to a series of 'offers', the last of which was a scam to add 'enhanced voicemail' to my landline phone. Never did get to an actual game download screen. Waaay to many legit freeware game sites out there to waste more time on these scammers.

Thanks for the links as well, good to have these on hand for questionable sites.
You guys are great!
