   On installation the last step is to answer if you want to reboot immediately or later.
   On either question the program returns with the error message "cannot prepare for resuming". After that the installation is aborted and rolled back.
   This installation was done after a several re-boots with no propgrams running.
   What goes wrong here?

   Hi. I am not one of the knowledgeable people on this site and I had the same problem as you. I tried to install several times and got the same results regardless of whether I said to reboot now or later.
   I eventually went ahead and rebooted the 'puter independently (it did not work with the installation of the program). When I then installed the program, it installed and was ready for use.
   Why?? I have not a clue!! But it is there and workable.
   Maybe that would work for you, too. I hope so.
