Downloaded with over 6 hours to go on offer. Installed application. Launched Activate.exe to activate license and was received a message that the offer had expired. Cannot activate. Please help.

1) ... Clear out your internet temp folder (internet cache) The cookies specisific to the giveawayoftheday may have become corrupted. Delete these so that a new page can load. hopefully his will then allow you to activate the software.
2) ... Is your computer clock set correctly?
3) ... Reboot your modem
4) ... Reboot your router
5) ... Reboot your computer
6) ... Could be a problem with your security software
7) . . possibly a problem with your provider
Apparently some people had a similar problem with icare from the other day and the giveaway team have said it was a proble from their side. If the same problem has occured there is the possibility that it may be rerun at a later date, but this is not guaranteed. (It all depends upon how many community members post with the same problem - there are thousands of downloads from this site every day. If only a few complain it would more than likely indicate a problem from the users side.

Memberalso have the same error and i have downloaded and installed many giveaways and not using anything new as far as security software. will try some of the suggestions to get it operational .

MemberInteresting -- I also got the same error message. I ditto digitalchaos; have not had this problem since I started with GotD in 2007 . . .
On XP, I was able to right-click on Activate, but the 30-day trial was installed. After trying other ways to install, all without success, I 'Revo'd' the trial.

MemberI too, get the same error, even though the top of the page tells me I have 3 hours and 51 minutes to install and activate this software. No worries though, I will just uninstall and move on. There will always be something new around the corner.

MemberExact same problem. Supposedly no longer available. Installed, activation refused and uninstalled twice. Frustrating. Went to site and program still available (at the time for 6+ hours more!). Certainly looks like screw-up at GotD's end. Really wanted this program. Arggh!

displayed:"RonyaSoft CD DVD Label Maker is available as a Giveaway of the day! You have 2 hours 29 minutes to download and install it"
The time now was: 11:31:59pm CST!!!

I have been getting that message with more than 6 hours to go on the GAOTD website (PDT). Also had it yesterday. I've tried everything that Whiterabbit-uk suggested (repeated at the end of this post), plus taking all of the system down and rebooting everything from the modem up. Tried 6 load activation sequences without success. I have the problem with both XP and Win 7(64 bit).
And I tried everything listed in the iCare posts from yesterday. Still get the message when trying to activate.
Now I'm investigating the July 27th GAOTD Zemana Antilogger SW - because it was the last time that GAOTD worked for me. No other reason to suspect Zemana (nothing obvious).
The odd thing is the "Response from GAOTD" is that it is "too late to activate" - not that something running on my end is blocking activation. It seems like GAOTD is not looking at my PC's day/time to decide if the activation period is not yet expired.
Tomorrow I will download the GAOTD SW early in the morning to see if I can get it to work.
Any ideas?

MemberCan’t activate software, still over 2 hours left to giveaway, and activation is failing saying the ‘giveaway period for this software is over, please check our web-site for a new giveaway’.
Others have been having problems for over 4 hours. I have only had this issue once or twice. The activate.exe accesses the GOTD site, but the server is indication the giveaway is over. Is someone going to fix this before 3AM???Posted 13 years ago # -

MemberI just uninstalled the file I downloaded this morning that would not activate. Redownloaded and tried the activation program again and it worked this time. Was reading that sometimes they fix problems with the giveaway and we may not always have the right activation executable to match the internal version. Give it a shot if you want this program... what have you got to lose?

Memberi tried everything i could and nothing worked i finally gave up last night . thx for the suggestions but it was not my pc or connection .as todays app as normal activated fine :d

MemberI noticed that the version of RonyaSoft CD DVD Label Maker that I downloaded through Giveaway-of-the-day is: 3.01.03 which is not the same version (3.0.1) which the installation program Setup.exe claimed to have installed.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the activation problem or not?
