I have been using FF right along; last few visits to GOTD, Downloadthemall gets an "error3" and can't find the DL. I switch to Explorer (I don't like Explorer) and I can download it no problem.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Any suggestions?

Firstly: No problems here with Firefox 5 and DownThemAll.
Secondly: Why do you use DownThemAll for one single small file? Isn't that a mass downloader in first place?I just click the download link and Firefox does the rest :)

I'm not running FF5 (why move to 5 when 6 is due out shortly and fight incompatible add-ons twice?) but open your extensions tab and see what version of DTA you're using. The current version, released on June 12, is 2.0.7 -> if you're running an older version then update, if you're running 2.0.7 then uninstall and install version 2.0.6.
I'm running 2.0.6 with FF4 and have no problems using the dTA OneClick download manager feature of DTA. But, again, I'm not using FF5.
Current and previous versions of DTA: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/versions/

The best way to solve strange problems like this is to simplify them. Remove all the "bits" that might be complicating the problem.
First step I would suggest - go into your Addons - and disable DTA. Then restart Firefox and try to download the file just using Firefox default downloader (just click and it will either put it in your downloads folder, or it will ask you for a folder location).
- If that works - it might be a problem with how you have configured DTA - maybe a default save folder doesn't exist (anymore).
- If that doesn't work - try using a different browser, like Internet Explorer (to rule out a general problem with Firefox). If Internet Explorer doesn't work either, then it is likely that the problem isn't just with firefox, but something even more basic.
Don't try to solve a problem by adding extra things to it (like a new version of DTA) - begin by returning to basics and download the file in the most simple and uncomplicated way you can manage.
